Come enjoy a night of scientific exploration! Local researchers will set up booths with interactive activities and live demonstrations. This is an opportunity for you adults to learn about all the stuff kids get to enjoy at the St. Petersburg Science Festival that weekend (Saturday, 19 October 2019).

Come and go as you please throughout the event’s time.

St. Petersburg College's new Bay Pines STEM Center is a hands-on science learning complex adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway in Pinellas County.

DNA Detectives with the Breitbart Lab

At the USF College of Marine Science, our lab looks at bacteria, viruses, and DNA in the marine environment. At this booth, fish for an egg filled with DNA, then decode that DNA to to find out which fish species it belongs to.
