Meet the speakers…
Dr. Emily Puckett
Emily is an Associate Professor at the University of Memphis. She and her group are interested in understanding the evolutionary history of bears (especially American black bears) through space and time.
Dr. Leigh Boardman
Leigh is also based at the University of Memphis, where she and her group Research in the Boardman Lab are interested in how arthropods (bugs) live in environments where they must cope with multiple stressful things in their environment such as changes in temperature, oxygen, and/or water availability.
