City Coordinator

Neuroscientist and one of the few people in the world who doesn’t like beer (wine or cider for me, please!). In my free time you’ll find me walking my dog along the Hudson or checking out a new restaurant with friends. I help plan Taste of Science festivals and monthly events at Ryan’s Daughter in NYC.

Catherine Hofler

Event Coordinator

While my background is in neuroscience and genetics in C. elegans, I currently work at a small biotech startup company located in the SF Bay Area. I work remotely from NYC, using robots to do antiviral research. I also enjoy running, yoga, baking, photography, visiting national parks, cats, and cute fluffy things in general.

Rosemary Puckett

Volunteer Coordinator

Rosemary is a neuroscientist who loves getting people to think more about how their brains are working in everyday life. Outside the lab, she enjoys museum adventures and rainy days in the city. Pretty sure the evolution of human consciousness is the ultimate bar talk.

Vik Meadows

Volunteer

Vik is a molecular biologist who is obsessed with studying how your gut and liver talk to each other. She is interested in science communication and scientific teaching. Outside of lab, Vik enjoys cycling, gardening, and reading horror/mystery books.
