This fascinating event opens with Dr. Fernando Ontiveros, presenting his research on 3D printing tissue to use in organ transplant. He will discuss how it is possible and his efforts on making it a cost-effective practice. 

Following a short intermission, a team of student researchers will present their findings in Gulf War Illness, which affects over 200,000 veterans. This team will take you on an organ-by-organ tour of the body and how it is affected by the illness.  They will examine causes and factors that may be responsible for the illness.
