Libraries Transform - Using 3D to Create New Collections: The role of the library is changing, and this difference includes many new ways of exploring and learning. The Digital Heritage and Humanities Collections (DHHC) at the University of South Florida Libraries is transforming the way we consider libraries and librarians. Working at the frontier of Mathematical Oncology, I will share an eyewitness account of the progress and the perils of this brave new science. I will confide in you some of the secret techniques of the dark art of computational modeling, how we wield them to untangle the mess that is metastatic prostate cancer, and what this means for the future of your healthcare. You should come.
