Peers n Pubs - Give me a Sign: Finding Rhymes in ASL
Peers'N’Pubs brings you a little something for the summer.
We welcome Dr. Zed Sehyr as she unravels the first ever interactive vizualiation database for signed languages. Zed will be joined by her best friend Rachelle and she will be talking about her paper entitled:
The ASL-LEX 2.0 Project: A Database of Lexical and Phonological Properties for 2,723 Signs in American Sign Language
or as she puts it “An interactive visual database for American Sign Language reveals how signs are organized in the mind”
For a preview of the interactive database, visit here and pack a lunch!
This event is the first of (hopefully) many that includes live ASL interpreters!
