Houston turned taste of science on its head to explore the science of taste.
Chef Olivier opened the doors of his restaurant so that we could experience a little molecular gastronomy.
Then heard from neuroscientist Brian Lim of Baylor College of Medicine. Naturally, our favorite sense is taste, but what are the processes underlying its detection. How is it that different flavors can change our sense of taste. Brian gave us a hands on, or should we say tongues on, experience to explain the science.
