Closing Rochester's first festival is Mandy Elliot. In this FREE event, she will present her findings on helping develop new models of music therapy. She will discuss the psychology behind music therapy and explain how and why it is effective in treating patients. Expect lots of live demonstrations for an eager audience! On April 25th we'll be heading to the Imaginarium at I-Square to hear more about Biology and the Age of Technology. Fernando Ontiveros, will be presenting his research on 3D printing tissue to use in organ transplant. He will discuss how it is possible and his efforts on making it a cost-effective practice. We will also have a team of student researchers from @rittigers presenting their findings in Gulf War Illness, which affects over 200,000 veterans. This team will take you on an organ-by-organ tour of the body and how it is affected by the illness. They will examine causes and factors that may be responsible for the illness.
